Teri Castillo

Meet Teri Castillo!

She is a San Antonio city council member for District 5, a life-long resident of the West Side of San Antonio, and a proud daughter and granddaughter of migrant farmworkers.

She is a housing organizer, a historian of urban policy, has organized statewide for health care with the Texas Organizing Project, and since 2019 has been an active member of the Historic Westside Neighborhood Association. She has worked in District 5 public schools for six years and was elected to the City Council in June of 2021.
