What We've Done

Our Finished Projects

The San Antonio Housing Trust understands that providing affordable housing is not about “sticks and bricks.” It’s about providing stable and dignified homes that support families, seniors, persons with disabilities, veterans, and persons experiencing homelessness. While our focus is always forward looking to the next affordable housing opportunity, here is what is in the rearview mirror.

Since 2011, the San Antonio Housing Trust has:

  • Created or preserved over 8,400 total units
  • Created or preserved over 5,000 units at or under 60% AMI (average median income)
  • Developed a pipeline of over 3,200 units with over 1,500 at or under 60% AMI which includes family, senior, and veteran-centric housing
  • Awarded over $3.6 million in grants and loans to create and preserve affordable housing
  • Awarded over $6 million to the City’s COVID Emergency Housing Assistance program that prevented foreclosures and evictions during the pandemic
